Our organization is led by experienced, qualified instructors
and governed by a dedicated volunteer board.
We offer a diverse range of dance styles and are
committed to providing professional-quality training and
meaningful performance opportunities to small, rural, and underserved communities.

Beyond technique and performance, we believe dance has
the power to strengthen communities by creating a
supportive environment where students can grow both personally and artistically.
Our mission is to inspire and empower generations of dancers, helping them develop not only into skilled, disciplined artists but also into compassionate individuals with a lifelong appreciation for the arts and a heart for serving others.
OUR MISSION - We provide excellent dance training in multiple styles each day, serving both our local and extended community by offering accessible tuition and accommodations for all students, and incorporating ballet examinations that support discipline, literacy, and arithmetic development.

OUR VISION - We envision a world where underserved and rural communities have access to high-quality dance education and the performing arts, serving children and adults who may have limited or interrupted educational opportunities.
Over the next 5-10 years, we aim to support students pursuing higher education - whether in college, trade schools, conservatories, or dance academies - while establishing our organization as a hub and safe space for the community to create, perform, and earn income through the arts. Through our programs, we strive to cultivate communities that appreciate and participate as patrons of the arts, provide safe space for male community members to express themselves, and nurture confident, disciplined, and respectful individuals capable of collaborating creatively, professionally, and with integrity.
Exams, Competitions,
& Performances
Exams
Our ballet students learn vocabulary and technique throughout the semester to expand their understanding of the art form.
Ballet levels 1-4 will have an assessment at the end of each semester. This encourages them to practice outside of the classroom and provides them with practical experience in an audition setting.
The examination procedure helps them gain confidence, exposes them to the appearance and feel of an actual audition, and motivates them to practice using correct ballet technique.
Competitions
Dancers ages seven and older have the opportunity to participate in several local and regional dance competitions each year.

Under the direction of our Artistic Director, select groups attend regional competitions, including Revel, Nuvo, BCA, Étoile, and Masquerade.
These events challenge dancers to grow artistically and refine their technical skills while learning from industry professionals and celebrating their achievements alongside peers from across the region.
Performances
Each year, RD presents two recitals showcasing a variety of dance styles, as well as at least one full-length ballet production.
These performances provide students with valuable stage experience while celebrating their hard work, artistic growth, and dedication throughout the year.
Fundraising, Donation Drives & Outreach
Fundraising
WCB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We fundraise each semester in order to generate the funds needed to continue operating and fulfilling our mission and vision. We encourage families to participate in our fundraising efforts. Generous participation helps ensure that our studio will remain a service to our families and our community.
Donation Drives
At RD, we believe in the importance of generosity, compassion, and giving back to our community. Each semester, we organize a fundraising initiative to support a local charitable organization, providing our dancers and their families with meaningful opportunities to make a positive impact.

Partnering with community-based organizations helps broaden our understanding of local needs while encouraging empathy, civic responsibility, and service. These experiences inspire our students to become thoughtful, compassionate individuals who use their talents and resources to make a difference in the lives of others.
Outreach
RD is committed to connecting with families and students throughout our community, especially those who may not yet be familiar with our programs.
We accomplish this by presenting educational performances in local schools, welcoming student groups to attend private performances, and participating in community events throughout the year.​
