Winchester Christian Ballet is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that operates through monthly tuition, fundraising efforts, and the generosity of direct donations.

 

Your financial support helps fund the many behind-the-scenes needs that make classes, performances, competitions, and special events possible. Alongside the commitment of our families and volunteers, your generosity creates an environment where our dancers can learn, grow, and thrive both on and off the stage. Every donation allows us to invest more time and resources into our students while meeting the day-to-day needs of operating our studio. It also helps us expand our programs and continue serving our community by providing a high-quality dance education.

Mrs. Elana Perkins

About Elana Perkins

Elana Marie Irwin Perkins, known to us as Mrs. Elana, was a well-accomplished professional ballerina who toured the world for 29 years. She performed all over Europe with a ballet company from Switzerland. She also danced with the San Francisco Ballet Company for many years.

Following her professional career, she poured her love and experience in dance technique into several Central Kentucky dance studios, one of which being Winchester Christian Ballet. Mrs. Elana was our studio's Artistic Director and Lead Teacher from 2016-2021 before she unexpectedly passed away on August 1, 2021.

She was respected, admired, and greatly loved by both her students and the parents within our organization. She invested her heart and expertise into our studio and will be greatly missed!
​
A donation in her name will help the studio continue her dream of teaching young dancers the beautiful art of ballet, which she believed would help them grow into successful young adults.
